Played my first $50 husng today, and won it! Ridiculously stupid game, my opponent was a massive calling station who hit every time. I was up and then down, then really down, and finally climbed back to win. Nice introduction to new limits…
Then I lost the next two. Well, there you go 
No problem, just getting my toes wet. I might need to mix in some $20s & $30s still so I don’t get too scared, but it’s all good!
FYI, I received confirmation today that PokerStars broke down my T$215 SCOOP ticket from the WBCOOP into a number of smaller tickets. Not sure if you were still looking into that option . . . GL to you
Really? I asked but they refused – I probably wasn’t asking the right thing though. I wanted to enter the HU tourneys which were priced differently and I don’t think splitting the ticket worked out easily.
So I used the whole $215 ticket and entered the $1m GTD on this Sunday (2nd), which should be ok-ish. There’s a 2-day $2m GTD same price, same day, but it starts too late in the evening. Plus the earlier one is 6max which I’m more used to (um, but not any good at).
If I cash I’ll be happy. Not overly optimistic though (duh, that’s not the right attitude at all!)

I ended up giving up T$6 in value because of the weird BI amounts, but I’d rather play 8 small BI’s than 1 big BI.
