Had a great session on Full Tilt first thing this morning – before I even started I (arrogantly) decided to set myself a stop-win of $20, after which I would switch to Pokerstars. The reason being I often rack up a quick victory on weekend mornings which then tend to fall back off as I continue playing. I haven’t figured out if it’s because I lose concentration or whether the bad players lose their money and move on or what. So, hence the stop-win (I’m not saying that’s how I intend to play generally – it’s just a good point to move onto the next site).

I ran the $20 up in 100 hands. Sooo, that was nice.

I then switched to PokerStars and it wasn’t so nice. It wasn’t awful either, but I couldn’t really get any traction. No monster hands, opponents were calling light which would have been good if I made any hands but all it did was ruin any fold equity. I ran up $6, then fell down to -$6, then finally stacked someone (my set vs their AK TPTK). So I ended up six dollars or so.

The real downer on PS though was that swinging between 60bb & -60bb etc I was just playing break-even and the feeling that I wasn’t getting any rakeback or clearing any bonuses made this feel really pointless
