I got my unofficial redeposit bonus today;
It was like one of those perfect storms – not only did my cards hit, but everyone was in an aggressive mood (didn’t last – they simmered down once I had all their money).
One guy got really pissed off at the way I played this hand;

And to be honest I don’t blame him. In recent days I’d got fed up of getting QQ+, raising preflop and the table folding on me. This time I wanted him to at least see the flop. He was so livid though…
Then there was this hand. I’m not so sure about this one.
- Hero call?

I think if he had shoved the river instead it would have been a fold, but this felt wrong. Also we’d built the pot so much that I was basically calling a 3/4 pot bet. Playing by feeling though is bad – so please tell me if that was a completely idiotic call to make!

the only hand that can possibly pay you off on A-high board is AQ but that’d be 2 pairs. he didn’t have flush obviously, but AQ and sets were very possible. he could have bluffed with KQ, but he’d not called your 3-bet with this hand – it’s eaither 4-bet bluff or fold, so i think this call was bad. instead, in 3-bet pot you can expect c-bet almost always..especially on A-high board! so instead check-shove the flop and even jacks may pay you off.
i missed your last post about redeposit. i heard on daniel’s site that you shouldn’t play for big amount of money until you’ve played at least 200k hands and i think it’s very true – the fact that i played gazillion(about 130k – still less than 200k) hands this year helped me alot. you lost only 6 cheeseburgers so just relax and have fun
it’s a learning curve and you should “invest” into your educations..$6 is pretty cheap investment
