Ah, not so good today. I went through 6 MTT’s of various types (some 18s, 27s and nothing more than 45 players). Lost them all.
Switched to single table SNGs, and while I held a reasonable lead initially, I crashed out before getting in the money.
So figured that’ll do for now. $10 loss overall – annoying but I guess I should expect the variance.

Just for a laugh, here’s a spot where I missed my draw and felt compelled to bluff on the river. I suppose in hindsight if I’d check/folded the river then remaining in the game with 900 chips wouldn’t have been that bad. However I think my line represents a strong hand, but it shows how players at this level with stubbornly stick with things to the bitter end.

no worries – soon you’ll kill everyone
post some hands?
I wonder what normal people would think if they knew I’d ordered a book called ‘Kill Everyone’? Did Mr Hellmuth get a bit paranoid when ‘Kill Phil’ was published?
Ok, posted some hands. Not many of them, but they’re from the top 3 tournaments in pokertracker that I was knocked out of, so I didn’t choose them for their comedy value.
I think I need to figure out some html that allows hands to be shown in a collapsible format – they make posts really long!Ok, done that – does that make it clearer?looks very neat now. 3rd hand: don’t mess with deep stacks. you’re taking a huge risk and marginal value of chip declines. and obviously pair of jacks is not the hand you’re going to risk your whole stack with
last hand – gross preflop play. as played, i’d probably pushed on the flop. most likely his range consists of draws so he’d fold. if he calls, you still have decent amount of outs
last hand I checked the blind – you wouldn’t raise 43o surely?
As I was writing that I was thinking that you wouldn’t fold either, and it reminded me of a 2p2 post;
