Beating Microstakes Texas No Limit Hold'em
Texas no limit hold'em is a complex game and even the top professional players will admit they are always learning how to beat the game. However, the good news with learning curves is that the initial steps will have the greatest return. There are basic strategies which will give you a winning edge over any player who does not know those strategies. Despite these strategies being easily available in books and on websites, the majority of players who play at the microstakes still do not know them. Certainly for online games less than NL100NL = No Limit, 100 indicates the stakes (ie $100 buy-in) these strategies will give you a strong enough foundation to be a winning player. Since these simple strategies are the foundations of strong poker, it's often referred to as 'ABC poker'.The strategies cover the following areas;
